University of South Alabama is Hiring a Bioethics and Humanities Near Mobile, AL
- Ph.D., M.D/DO., or equivalent terminal degree
- Evidence of substantial formal training in bioethics, medical ethics, and/or humanities
- Experience teaching bioethics and humanities for medical students, residents, and/or graduate
- Experience in teaching other basic, clinical, or health system sciences
- Experience leading or assisting in the delivery of courses to medical students and/or graduate
- Formal training or experience in educational theory, instructional design, and/or evaluation and
- A track record of scholarship related to their terminal degree or medical education
- Experience with computer or simulation-based instructional methods
(ABMS recognized), must qualify for an unrestricted Alabama Medical License, or must agree to obtain an unrestricted Alabama Medical License within 2 years of employment.
The Whiddon College of Medicine is part of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
