Costa Farms started on just 30 acres, and over the last 60 years, we've grown to more than 5,000 acres around the world. We have farms in North and South Carolina, Central and South Florida, and the Dominican Republic, plus an office in China. Job Description

The Over-the-Road Tractor Driver at Costa Carolina, our operating unit in Leicester, NC is responsible for repositioning company owned equipment across locations within farms (intra-farm), and movements between farm locations (inter-farm). The position will be responsible for moving trailers with hard-goods, live-goods, and empty trailers. The position requires some loading/off-loading assistance.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

* Read/analyze reports & print outs

* Supply material requirements to the dock in a daily basis

* Load/offload rolling racks from/to the dock

* Monitor and report to supervisor material requirements for the area

* Organize buffer materials/finish product area

* Realize clean task on the area

* Paint and apply maintenance task on the area

* Responsible for operation of company owned and leased/rented Semi Tractor

* Support all shipping process whenever is needed

* Break down racks when needed

Qualifications & Skills:

* Good Communication skills.

* Works well under pressure

* Being able to follow precise instructions.

* Having documenting skills.

* Being physically fit.

* CDL Required

* Team player

* Seasonal position; February through end of May
