The career for you:

We are seeking an Industrial Electrical Foreman in the Greenville SC area to join our team. The position will be apart of supervision of installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of industrial electrical systems.

Job Responsibilities: (Working foreman)

  • Work with Project Managers, Customers and other types of management to plan, organize, and direct the work of job crew employees daily
  • Maintain familiarity with plans, specifications, and job folder contract scope
  • Plan layout and installation of same in accordance with job specifications
  • Attend coordination meetings as required and provide necessary information
  • Receive and review weekly job assignments
  • Complete a detailed list of all required materials, tools, and manpower for job assignments and communicate requirements with the direct Project Manager
  • Assist in the monitoring and documentation of the progress of the job using appropriate forms and procedures as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Provide workforce with current and accurate information as generated by the Project Manager, including RFI's, memorandums, and any other forms of communication devices
  • Assist in the communication of company policies and procedures to the job crew
  • Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Codes as needed
  • Order daily materials as needed for your work area and follow up on backorders as necessary through the Project Manager.
  • Monitor and track employee work time as necessary and assist Project Manager and workforce in the proper coding of time cards as required
  • Be available to the team for any questions regarding tasks being performed
  • Ensure the job site is properly cleaned up at the end of each workday
  • Ensure compliance with all job safety standards established by all regulatory agencies.
  • Responsibly manage assigned truck, tools and equipment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of electrical supervision experience in an Industrial setting.
  • Able to perform professional installation in an Industrial setting.
  • Able to lead/work and manage 1-5 men in industrial setting.
  • Able to interpret and implement blueprint specifications.
  • Should have mechanical aptitude.
  • Must understand and perform required math functions.
  • Must Possess a valid driver’s license or the ability to transport to and from assigned job sites.
  • Knowledgeable of National Electric Code and comply with State and local building codes during the installation of electrical systems.
  • Capable of laying out conduit, cable tray or wire trough and trapeze systems.

Capable of connecting basic control systems. (Start-stop, E-stop, motor starters)
