The Director of Operations directs and oversees LegitScript’s end-to-end Certification process, ensuring operational excellence, solution integrity, and customer centricity. As a visionary leader, the Director has a strong track record in client-facing operations, adept at navigating complex compliance landscapes, and is focused on aligning these elements with the company’s strategic goals. With an advanced ability to lead, this role not only embodies but also imparts LegitScript’s management philosophy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational acumen among the team.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist the General Manager, Certification Solutions, in setting strategic priorities including planning, communications, and execution
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management that mirrors the mission and core values of LegitScript
  • Lead growth through agility and insight, optimizing Certification operations to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry and dynamic regulatory landscapes
  • Making business decisions informed by policy, operational efficiency, and P&L, with a commitment to cultivate this skill within the team
  • Directly manage three critical teams: Policy, Client Relations, and Analyst Operations, ensuring cohesive and efficient end-to-end operations
  • Foster relationships with clients and strategic partners, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout their Certification journey
  • Analyze financial data to evaluate the profitability and cost-effectiveness of operational strategies. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports detailing key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights on budget variances
  • Regularly assess team performance against both short-term and long-term goals set for productivity, efficiency, and quality standards. Develop and implement strategies for addressing any gaps
  • Collaborate closely with Product leadership to drive product to market fit and improve operational capabilities
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of customer feedback to measure satisfaction levels and identify areas for solution and/or service enhancement. Report findings and recommend improvements to enhance customer engagement and retention
  • Recruit, mentor and grow high-performing teams
  • Represent and deliver presentations on behalf of the company at conferences, prospect and thought leadership webinars, and client-facing Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging industry trends, providing updates and feedback to the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams

What You'll Bring:
  • Significant experience leading operations, client-facing teams, client success or similar. Experience should include managing cross-functional teams and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated success in facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence others towards achieving strategic business objectives
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, quickly evolving environment and manage multiple competing priorities with various stakeholders without compromising on the quality of work
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience supervising and developing high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success working in a matrixed business organization where cross-team collaboration was necessary
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong independent decisions
  • Well-developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English
Qualifications:
  • Open to candidates with a 4-year college degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We prioritize practical skills, a robust work ethic, and a passion for continuous learning over formal education alone.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a management role within a fast-pace growing organization, ideally operating on a recurring revenue model
