The Coordinator of Hospital Storytelling is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Hospital Storytelling program which sends readers into pediatric clinics and hospital settings to read to the patients and distribute free books. The Coordinator conducts outreach to hospitals and pediatric facilities in Brooklyn and develops new sites. The Coordinator acts as a liaison to sites at hospitals, clinics and group homes and conducts hospital storytelling sessions. Coordinator recruits volunteer Reading Troubadours and contracted Hospital Storytellers for various sites. This position reports to the Supervising Librarian of Inclusive Services.
Responsibilities:This is a Union position represented by District Council 37. The salary for this position is $43,452.
