Overview: As a Hospice Marketer, your primary role is to promote and represent our hospice services within the community. Your mission is to build essential relationships with healthcare professionals, referral sources, and potential patients and their families. By doing so, you will increase awareness of our hospice program, generate referrals, and ensure that individuals in need of end-of-life care receive the necessary support and services.
Key Responsibilities: Develop & Execute Marketing Plans: Create comprehensive marketing strategies to raise awareness of our hospice services. Identify target markets and tailor marketing strategies accordingly. Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers. Collaborate with hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare providers to generate referrals. Community Outreach: Organize and attend community events, seminars, and workshops to educate the public about hospice care. Represent the hospice organization at local health fairs, senior centers, and support groups. Provide Information: Educate potential patients and their families about hospice services, benefits, and the admission process. Address inquiries and provide resources to individuals seeking end-of-life care information. Conduct Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations to healthcare professionals, community groups, and organizations to highlight the value of hospice care. Marketing Materials: Create and distribute marketing materials, brochures, and informational packets. Ensure all marketing materials are up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Data Collection & Analysis: Track and analyze referral sources, trends, and conversion rates to measure marketing effectiveness. Provide regular reports and updates to the hospice management team. Compliance: Adhere to all legal and ethical standards related to marketing and healthcare practices. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience in marketing and sales, particularly within healthcare or hospice. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong networking and relationship-building abilities. Knowledge of hospice care and end-of-life services is a plus. Proficiency in using marketing tools, software, and analytics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
