The Production Machine Operator will primarily utilize advanced manufacturing machines in the production and assembly of tape and adhesive products.

What are the Responsibilities?

• Demonstrate and possessing advanced knowledge in manufacturing processes and machinery, showcasing a high level of proficiency
• Operate advanced machinery that involves complex tasks, demonstrating judgment in process development, product development and problem resolution
• Safely operate machinery to manufacturer’s specifications and adjust machinery when necessary to improve performance
• Execute assignments in multiple production areas, showcasing versatility and adaptability
• Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality and cosmetic specifications
• Work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
• Proactively recognize, initiate, and lead improvement activities without hesitation, ensuring performance goals and commitments are met.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Team on machine operations and improvements
• Works under minimum supervision, receiving assignments in the form of expected results, due dates, and general procedures to follow
• Assignments are received in the form of results expected but incumbents have considerable freedom to decide on work priorities
• Collaborate with team members and contribute significantly to the mentoring f other production Associates
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Do You Fit the Bill?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility or similar relevant experience Understanding of production and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions from operations and service manuals
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, bend, stand, walk and operate machinery efficiently
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
