What is your role? 

As a Technical Producer for Eleventh Hour Games , you will be responsible for handling and organizing processes to support the development and QA teams. This position will require a candidate with deep understanding of ARPGs and gaming pipelines, specifically adapting to Last Epoch. This role is ideal for someone who excels in production pipeline ownership and who has strong communication and analytical skills, both written and verbal. The role requires excellent communication skills, Project management skills, and team management skills as you will be working with a fully remote global team.

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in game production or equivalent roles
  • Professional experience in a gaming studio with full development cycle, from concept to ship
  • Professional experience with live games/games as a service
  • Familiarity with Git, Unity, and project management software (Clickup a plus)
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical features and risks clearly
  • Deep understanding of game development, software development process, and project management practices.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and an expert understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
  • Self-starter, you approach challenges creatively and methodically, seeing them through to final resolution
  • Ability to drive high velocity, high impact development cycles, balancing out short-term needs and long-term vision.

Responsibilities 

  • Full understanding and maintaining of the development and QA team pipelines and workflow as it interacts with other departments and the overall project(s), including player experience. Including, but not limited to understanding best practices and methodology for each team.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the IP, and full cycle game development in general; understanding how code and services impact player experience. 
  • Regularly review technical projects and features and work with developers to adjust them based off of game and business priorities.
  • Work across departments to efficiently and effectively manage our development tools and processes including our version control and release management
  • Act as a critical partner with external entities for outsourcing, managing relationships, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Tool building and feature implementation, focusing on innovation and efficiency.
  • Own day-to-day communication and escalation with creative and operational stakeholders in order to efficiently manage execution of cross team initiatives.
  • Own the pipeline, partner with discipline leads to determine time and people necessary to see projects through to completion. Build and maintain project plans, schedules, and roadmaps considering dependencies across multiple development teams to ensure successful releases.
  • Provide transparency on project status and risks to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts from upcoming releases. Communicate frequently with the rest of the production team and project leads on project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Own continual refinement of processes and best practices within the production team and work to proactively identify potential gaps in the production pipeline.
  • Break down large complex initiatives, features and challenges into manageable portions and actionable steps.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Lead Producer
