Business Solutions Managers, reporting to the Operations Solutions Management team, are an integral part of Texas Capital Bank Operations responsible for developing and executing strategies that help their bank achieve its goals. You will work with a variety of different Operations departments, both internally and externally, to identify opportunities, develop plans of action, define business requirements, and implement processes that will lead to increased revenue, reduced costs, increased efficiencies, and customer experience enhancements across the bank.
Business solutions managers are tasked with managing relationships between Operations and any third-party vendors, IT, business stakeholders, and others to provide certain services, projects, or products. This includes overseeing quality control measures, coordinating business requirements for technology, designing process automations, negotiating pricing terms, issues management, and ensuring that all parties involved are meeting their obligations as expected.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth, including developing new products or services, expanding markets, defining technology needs, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Partner with all levels of an organization to evaluate needs and help improve business performance through process enhancement and development programs.
  • Lead internal workshops and employee engagements to educate on specific technologies and applications to facilitate adoption of new processes.
  • Aid creation of project proposals and statements of work that capture requirements and proposed solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Build relationships with key clients to increase opportunities and utilization of the company's products or services.
  • Communicate company policies and procedures to staff members and ensure they are followed.
  • Present market and competitor research identifying new opportunities for enhancing the company's products or services.
  • Lead business development activities in partnership with Operations, Technology, Program Management, and other related stakeholders.
  • Review reports, processes, and technologies with stakeholders to determine whether action or enhancement is required.
  • Suggest and develop improvements to existing processes to improve team effectiveness.
  • Manage employee performance by providing feedback and coaching, to develop an industry-leading team.
  • Provide required leadership, supervision, and team development to ensure a high functioning team effort during the project lifecycle.
  • Provide expert operational input and facilitate design sessions with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Review and approve project deliverables (such as business process flows, functional requirements, business rules, user acceptance test cases, implementation plans, etc.) to ensure all operational requirements are successfully achieved.
  • Proactively manage and drive consensus with the program's key stakeholders to guarantee project deliverables meet required efficiencies.
  • Develop a solid understanding of our operating model processes (Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Credit Card Settlement) and effectively communicate the operations expertise to build the detailed "To-Be" vision for a program.
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive Change Management strategy for implementation.
  • Function as primary liaison between the future-state implementation team and the functional operations group(s).
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Executive team. Be prepared to discuss operational risks and mitigation strategies. Obtain sign-off upon the completion of primary deliverables.
  • Lead the final evaluation of the initiative based on established goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of proven experience in strategy, business operations, analytics, and/or project management.
  • Proficiency with the suite of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), SQL, Azure DevOps, AWS, Fiserv, Abrigo Sageworks, and/or similar systems.
  • Sound data analysis, problem resolution, team building, business judgment, and decision-making skills required.
  • Experienced business leader, highly skilled, motivated, and results driven, who enjoys a challenging environment, and can work independently.
  • In-depth understanding of Project Management and SDLC methodologies preferred.
  • Extremely meticulous with superior attention to ensuring the creation of a quality product throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to influence and create alignment across multiple functional areas to drive change in accordance with corporate objectives.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic business environment.
  • Experience working with and managing external vendors.
  • Ability to communicate highly technical and complex concepts effectively across all levels of the organization (both IT and business).
  • Understand work processes and information needs of the solution and technology options.
  • Financial Services, Mortgage, and/or Banking experience preferred.
