Sentara Leigh Hospital is currently recruiting for a Radiology Assistant in Norfolk, VA!

This is a Full-Time Evening Shift, Tuesday - Friday.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Performs chest, abdominal, extremity, and spine radiological imaging studies of patients within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: operation of equipment, development of films, and preparation of patient room and equipment under direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist.

Job Summary

Performs chest, abdominal, extremity, and spine radiological imaging studies of patients within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: operation of equipment, development of films, and preparation of patient room and equipment under direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist.
Currently enrolled and have completed 2 semesters of formal education that is accredited by the ARRT.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQIStudent
