Under the supervision of the Lead Technologists, ensures the safe transportation of patients to and from the Imaging departments and throughout the facility; provides imaging clerical support, data entry, copying, faxing and filing when assigned. Prepares and maintains imaging medical records/CDs as needed. Assist with scheduling questions and patient exam preps. Assists Technologist with imaging record retrieval (PACS and HIS/RIS) and exam completion process as needed. May provide assistance in exam room preparation, assists in procuring supplies. May provide assistance in emergency situations, and assigned task that may not be relative to the radiology department. May be assigned to various shifts as needed. Position requires ability to work weekends and holidays as required and assigned. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Osceola Hospital’s strategic plan and the goals and director of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
