Position Summary:
Under the general direction and supervision of the Chief Operations Officer (COO), this position is responsible for the administration, and management of the organization’s electronic health/medical record (EHR) systems and other internal technology applications, including training staff to use the EHR and other technology, providing technical support to staff, and health informatics. This position facilitates special projects in all departments. This position is suitable for an individual with a clinical or non-clinical background in addition to data and healthcare informatics and systems management experience.
Position Requirements:
Education: Degree in Health Informatics, Computer Sciences, or related field is highly preferred; educational equivalent and/or training will be considered with considerable relevant experience in a related position which would provide the equivalent scope of knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work.
Experience: Two-year’s prior experience in use of EHR and two-years working with clinical staff to document patient care, providing support, guidance, and experience training others for proper EHR usage; experience working with data analytics in a healthcare environment preferred; experience with Epic Clarity Data Tables, Crystal Reports, SAP Business Objects, and AZARA DRVS preferred
Additional preferred qualifications: Medical Certification or Licensure (MA, LPN, RN, etc).
