**Description**

**The Courtyard by Marriott Waterbury Downtown, managed by Moody National Management LP, is looking for a Garage Attendant to join our team.**

The main function of the Garage Attendant is to maintain a secure, clean and functional environment.

Essential Functions:

Ensure all automated equipment is functioning correctly and stocked with receipt paper.

Responsible for creating/updating monthly parking customers.

Assist customers/hotel guests upon entry and exit should they have issues.

Walk garage parking/property for added Security. Maintain general cleanliness of parking/property.

During heavy check-in and check-out times, you will be responsible to maintain flow of traffic in hotel registration circle entrance.

May at times need to provide Bellman services.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Assist with grounds duties during inclement weather.

Job Specifications

Sound working familiarity with safety and security procedures and guidelines and ability to safely operate vehicles.

Good command of the English language; second language proficiency desirable

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Ability to follow corporate and brand standards and procedures.

Experience and Education:

3 years excellent driver record. Must meet minimum driver points per Company Driver Safety Policy.

Must be 21 years of age to be covered on Company insurance policy.

Minimum training required per year as assigned by the company

Any additional training required by manager

Work Environment:

This job operates in a hotel environment.

Work days and work hours may vary. May need to perform split shifts

This position works both indoors and outdoors.
