Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location : Wixom, MI - Hybrid
Pay Rate : $24-28 / hour
Schedule : Full time, Monday Friday
Contract Type : Temporary to Hire
Kelly Services has partnered with a manufacturing company that is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team.
Our client has been in business for over 100 years in the machinery manufacturing industry and is a leading technology enterprise in the field.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for working with customers to resolve payment issues. Apply today for immediate consideration!
Responsibilities :
- Support the optimization of cash flow by reducing the order to cash collections cycle through all methods of invoicing.
- Support the timely submission of accurate invoices to ensure prompt payments
- Consistent follow up and management of customers with aged receivables.
- Identify and improve processes in the order to cash process as encountered.
- Call customers to resolve issues with payments - collections.
- Bachelor degree required preferably in related field (Finance, Accounting, Economics)
- 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit and collections.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Skilled in use of Computer systems including MS Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to maintain composure when Customers are unhappy and are expressing their frustrations.
- Successful in establishing positive working relationships with team members and others within the organization.
