The Inside Sales Representative supports the Sales and Logistics team in the Detroit Steel Division creating and monitoring customer orders, calculating costs and collecting payments, and performing other functions as assigned.
Essential Functions:

Skills and Qualifications:
1. An Associate Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field is required.
2. At least one year of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills required.
4. Basic math and unit conversion skills required.
5. Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
6. Proficient knowledge of an ERP system required.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk; or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time non-exempt position. Days and hours worked are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position may occasionally require longer work hours and weekend work.
This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager.
