The Geo Tech is responsible for the performance of the following duties in a safe and productive manner: Job Duties: Provide general labor to the Exploration department. The duties may include cleaning, stocking, and transporting supplies, working with the drilling crew, and working with Coeur exploration personnel. Collect measurements on drill core and other geologic samples with a high attention to detail. Ensure data is recorded accurately and completely into company computers. Collect and move samples around, loading, stacking, and handling drill core and full core boxes. Safely operate for shipping. Monitor contractors for compliance and safety rules. Required to operate small equipment in warehouse such as forklift. Perform any and all work as directed. Physical Requirements: Follow all procedures and safety measures to assure safe production. Work in all conditions and environments. Able to lift 50lbs. on continuous basis, 75 lbs. on occasional basis. Able to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground daily. Workplace Requirements: Work as a team member and communicate openly with others. Self-directed and able to take leadership role on many projects. Willing to stop work for safety concerns and always abide by safety best practices, policies, and procedures.
