Tri-Mach is Hiring a Project Estimator Near Wichita, KS
Key Responsibilities
- Attend customer site visits with sales team
- Prepare accurate proposals from RFP's
- Provide professional and positive customer experience
- Work with Project Management on awarded projects
- Provide expertise knowledge to customers & supervisors to ensure projects are done accurately on budget & on time
- Manage in-progress jobs; ensuring jobs are complete for deadlines on budget & on time
- Balance a workload of multiple projects
- Provide assistance in the Mechanical Design review process
- Develop extensive knowledge of product line, preferred practices and all applicable industry standards
- Conduct necessary site visits with Project Management to obtain field measurements in order to complete detailed drawings when necessary
- Attend Project Kick-Off meetings as required
- Correspond with Project Management to ensure design is reflective of the scope of work
- Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanship
- In accordance with company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the Company
- All other duties as assigned
- Completion of College/University degree or diploma or equivalent job experience
- 3 years experience in similar estimation role
- Strong engineering and manufacturing knowledge
- Able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative thinker
- Analytical mindset
- Experience with SolidWorks an asset
- Experience with MS Project an asset
- Knowledge of fabrication, programming, electrical and millwrighting an asset
- Strong organizational, time and budget management skills
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
