Pharmacy at BlueBack is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near West Hartford, CT
Pharmacy at Blue Back is seeking a competent RX Technician to assist the Pharmacist with prescription management and communicating with physicians’ offices regarding patient medications. The successful candidate for this role will interact with patients over the phone and in-store to address customer service issues and field questions about medications. Additionally, our Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for confirming patient information on prescription labels before disbursing medications.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
- Answer incoming phone calls and answer patient questions
- Disburse completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients
- Assist the Pharmacist with maintaining the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed
- Address customer service issues when they arise
Pharmacy Technician registration at the onset of the job is preferred but not required.
- Pharmacy Technician experience A
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking preferred but not required!)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.69 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
