Job Description:
Looking for an experienced and knowledgeable person in wine and liquors who can manage a premium domestic/exotic wine & spirit shop in West Hartford, CT. The candidate with wine & liquor industry trends knowledge, store organization, inventory management and customer service skills would be preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Organize products and maintain clean appearance of the store
· Restock shelves, manage inventory and update products orders based on demand..
· Handle cash register, checkouts and other administrative duties.
· Daily closing with sales report and reconcile cash/credit/debit/electronic sales with POS report.
· Help and guide customers with product selections and answering questions.
· Receive deliveries from distributors, update inventory and stock them.
· Prepare online orders, package and keep it ready for Fedex pickup.
· Run weekly inventory and provide reports for high/low demand products.
· Host wine tasting and other seasonal promotional events.
· Run weekly specials to increase customer base and store sales.
· Provide best-in-class customer service and address customer issues quickly.
· Keep updated with wine industry trends and state liquor regulations.
Basic Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience working as wine and spirit store manager.
· High school or equivalent, Associate (Preferred)
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
