City Club Apartments is actively seeking an experienced General Manager to join its team in Troy, MI.

The General Manager role is selective and designed to oversee A luxury apartment communities in urban or suburban-urban locations. Learning and development is a key priority for this role and as such this role has the privilege of developing existing and future managers and emerging leaders

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with company’s corporate teams to identify and address needed capital improvements and budgeted expenditures, implement new programs and processes, submission of financial reports and identify learning and development needs
  • Adhere to budgets, direct collection of monthly assessments, payment of incurred operation expenses, prepare and interpret monthly financial statements
  • Maintain accurate records of community transactions
  • Assure quality and quantity of market ready apartments, personally confirm models and market ready apartments, and communicate service-related needs to maintenance before apartments are shown
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10 years of progressive and mixed experience in hotel hospitality operations and property management
  • 5 years of experience in leading a team
  • Previous experience with managing an operating budget
  • Previous user experience with RealPage or other property software a plus
