Our client is looking to fill the role of Tax Manager. This position will be hybrid.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing tax advisory services and tax compliance for pass-through entities across various for-profit sectors such as Construction, Manufacturing, Retail, and Professional Services.
• Experience researching tax related matters and providing written correspondence with an understanding of the structure of the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulations.
• Helping to develop, build and manage client relationships including Billing & Collections independently.
• Representing the company in the professional and business community with a Strong positive Attitude
• Participating in the proposal process for prospective clients
• Assisting with managing, developing, and training professional tax staff
• Experience managing multiple client engagements
• A strong sense of ownership for advocating for and providing a voice of direction for the company by participating in committees designed for client or staff development and operations
• Excellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills

Required Qualifications:

• 7 years or more of relevant experience in public accounting tax including technical tax consulting and research
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA license required
• Master's degree in Taxation or LL.M.
• Experience with CCH ProSystems tax software (Engagement, Document a plus)
