Seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager and a Project Engineer from LOCAL TALLAHASSEE, FL APPLICANTS ONLY .

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year commercial construction experience,
• Ability & Willingness to represent the company in meetings with Owners and consultants.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction projects, both new and renovations; large, medium & smaller projects.
• Knowledge of the various trades.
• Ability to communicate in English, written and oral.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Computer Literacy, including MS Office Suite. We will train you to use the necessary software.
• Reliable transportation.
• We maintain a Drug and Alcohol Free, no-tobacco/no-vaping workplace and all candidates will be subject to pre and post employment drug testing.
• Project Mangers work in our office as well as at the job site, as needed.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive management to one or more commercial construction projects, simultaneously. Included are projects of various sizes and scopes.
• Includes reading and understanding of drawings, specifications, RFI, ASI, Addenda and Submittals
• PM may perform estimating, take-off and bids: Prepare bid documents, schedule and conduct bid openings, perform scope review, Value Engineering, prepare subcontracts & purchase orders, Prepare GMP and other cost estimates for Owner.
• Prepare and update CPM schedule.
• Obtain permits.
• Process, review and approve trade contractor Submittals and construction products/materials.
• Work directly with AEO to provide VE, QC, maintain CPM Schedule (Microsoft Project software) and identify and solve potential construction conflicts/problems. Represent the company at AEO meetings, and prepare notes, logs and reports.
• Work with our Administration/Accounting departments throughout the project to prepare and approve change orders, subcontractor requests for payment, close outs and all other ancillary proceedings and documents.
• Work closely with jobsite superintendent.
