Lemon Door Playschool LLC is Hiring a Part-Time Preschool Teacher Near Seattle, WA
The Lemon Door Playschool is a full-day preschool located in the Magnolia Village area of Seattle. (Opened September 2022) We are currently hiring 1-2 part-time teachers. We are seeking experienced, kind, light-hearted and energetic individuals who truly enjoy working with preschool aged children and who work well with other adults. (You will be working in a classroom with three other teachers) Our center is play based and we encourage all our teachers to bring their professionalism and creativity to this position. We are a mixed-age center and we are excited to complete our team!
Part Time shifts are 8:30-1:30 or 1:30-6
One year commitment encouraged
Start Date June 10, 2024 or once two training days are complete
Duties will include:
Engage and build positive relationships with the preschoolers, families, and staff
Regulate the classroom with the other teachers
Help to plan and rotate the classroom weekly
Prep children to go outside (help with coats/shoes etc)
Supervise playground time (always with 3 -5 teachers)
Bathroom duty (assist children in bathroom-all are potty trained!)
Helping serve and clean up lunch (all meals are provided at Lemon Door)
Relive full-time teachers for their lunch (oversee sleeping children)
Qualifications: College credits required (currently enrolled ok)

Registered with MERIT (fingerprints done!)
30 HR childcare basics
TB test within last 12 months
MMR Vaccine
Food workers card
CPR/First Aid up to date
