Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach courses in our Dental Assisting program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Assisting courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.

Requirements

Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:

• Documented expertise in academic areas as demonstrated by data sheets, diplomas, transcripts, certifications, resume
• Expertise in interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program certificate, diploma, or degree
• Post-secondary teaching experience preferred
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Team player who demonstrates initiative, dependability, and reliability

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
