We're looking for a growth-centric Content Curator to help us achieve our mission of becoming the best. This position will be required to be onsite 3 days per week at our Great American Pure Flix office in Scottsdale, AZ.

As a Content Curator for Great American Pure Flix, you will be responsible for reviewing, curating, and implementing the content presentation and discovery mechanisms within the streaming service.

You will work with a cross-functional team of marketing, programming, content operations, product management and creative personnel to ensure that the streaming application experience represents the core content mission and strategy of the organization with user engagement a paramount driver.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Objectively watch and review movies, series and shorts for potential consideration for the Pure Flix streaming service. Make notes on all content and give recommendations. Put the reviews in Content system.
• Participate as needed in content review discussions with content team for potential licensing. Recommend potential content for review.
• Work with the programming and marketing teams to suggest and collaborate on programming themes.
• Work with marketing to assist with questions or content needs for marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to a spreadsheet with extensive details and links for all of creative/ marketing to use for determining what to feature.
• Curate the carousel and feeds on the user interface, integrating with dynamic feeds/pages, and do post quantitative analysis of the data for each feed with recommendations for future feeds.
• Create monthly content sheet for Member Services and work with Member Services to create fun promotions monthly to promote content.
• Manage the creative/feeds in the application management system.
• Work on the leadership content presentation and create a library of current industry trends for use in the presentation.
• Lead weekly product curation meetings to align carousel and rails with content premieres and seasonal themes. Provide updated notes to all participants.
• Work with operations and SVOD platform provider on tagging and genre projects.
• Run reports for programming types, genres, etc.
• Work with the operations team to create metadata tags and assist with potential on-boarding of new content.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• Proven experience with content streaming service in support, testing or product role.
• Strong understanding of content genres, themes, and metadata tagging.
• Hand-on experience with content streaming applications and interfaces.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
