We offer paid training and a reduced goal for your first six months with the firm. This has allowed new collectors to BONUS month 1 and throughout the ramp up period that is critical for long term success with us. Additionally, we are offering a sign-on bonus of $777 that will be paid in equal installments in each pay period following completion of your training.

Schreiber Law, LLC is a multi-state creditors’ rights law firm with a presence in MA, NH, CT, VT and ME.

We are seeking full time Collections Specialists in our Salem, NH call center to contact individuals who are in various stages of the legal collections process.

Responsibilities:

As a Collections Specialist, you will interact with consumers in the negotiation of collection of defaulted debts on behalf of our clients. Specific duties as a Collections Specialist will include:

  • Reviewing accounts on a daily basis and maintaining all work queue and desk assignments
  • Contacting borrowers via telephone
  • Establishing borrower’s ability and willingness to pay and identifying the appropriate repayment program/options based on the consumer’s circumstances
  • Notating all account activity into the firm’s computer account management system
  • Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is sent out to borrowers, following up to ensure that paperwork is returned and then submitting it in a timely manner
  • Meeting or exceeding all daily calling requirements, weekly and monthly work effort and production goals
  • Understanding and following all federal and state laws with regards to collections and communication policies and procedures

Specific qualifications for the Collections Specialist position include:

  • Ability to work 5 days per week, with 1 possible evening shift (up to 8:00PM), as well as 1 Saturday morning shift per month, with advance notice
  • Passing annual required compliance and firm/client P&P testing
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of telephone experience preferred, but not required
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Basic Math skills
  • Sales, telemarketing, or call center experience a plus
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
