Capital Staffing is Hiring a Field Supervisor (Landscape) Near Sacramento, CA
Well-Established Company seeking an Field Supervisor (Landscape) Immediately! You will be responsible to assist with the management of land maintenance activities.
An ideal candidate for this position will be an expert in landscaping, including planting and maintaining various types of shrubs and trees. A successful candidate must also be willing to work in a variety of weather conditions and possess strong customer service skills.
Day Shift
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and prepare for jobs by organizing tools and materials
- Maintenance and repair of equipment, such as ATVs, lawn tractors, trailers, mowers, electric livestock fencing and string trimmers
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform various tasks
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, and trimming
- Manage and maintenance of irrigation equipment, including motors and pumps and engaging with contractors conducting repair and maintenance work on them
- Maintain asset inventory of equipment used in field services
- Clean up landscaped areas where unwanted debris such as soils, rocks, weeds, brush, etc. are present
Job Qualifications:
- Have high school diploma or equivalent
- Have valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background screening
- Minimum of five years of experience in ranching, farming or habitat land management or maintenance work including supervision
