Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, along with the ability to maintain and repair equipment efficiently.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs and/or implements maintenance activities such as repair and or replacement of facility and or production equipment.
• Required to follow all federal, state, manufacturer, and company standards to ensure that the equipment is operating within the required specifications.
• Responsible for following the proper preventative maintenance schedule on each piece of equipment.
• Responsible for contacting the equipment manufacturer for assistance.
• Responsible for requesting the purchase and inventory of spare parts as necessary.
• Must follow all company’s systems and procedures to ensure the safe operation of equipment prior to releasing equipment for use by other employees.
• The maintenance technician is an authorized employee of the LOTO process.
• Responsible for cleaning the environment in which they work, including the equipment and surrounding areas prior to releasing the area or equipment for employees’ use.
• Responsible to work or coordinate contractors to support our manufacturing and customers’ requirements.
• May provide mentoring and coaching of other employees regarding the safe operation or repair of equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Normal production and facility equipment environment.

· Safety glasses are always required in the manufacturing area.

· Lubricants and sharp metals will be part of the normal operations.

· Administration duties are part of the daily requirements.

· Required to work in restricted work areas (small, high roof top or below ground).

· Clear or correct vision and a close distance and ability to read small print, numbers, or measurement devices at a close distance.

· Ability to lift, push and pull 10-50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

· Will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.

· Normal work week is 40 hours with off-shift and weekend support as needed to assure work is completed in a timely fashion.

· Daily use of computer for communication and scheduling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
