ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Officer to manage aspects of Listening Post Collective’s (LPC’s) business development, active LPC grants, and strategic partnerships.
Under the supervision of the Director for US Programs, this position performs high-level tasks including grant oversight and report writing, proposal development and writing, and cultivation and organization of strategic partnerships.
This role will be a lead writer for LPC concept notes and proposals, working closely with the Director for US Programs, LPC program staff, and the Internews Private Development team.
They will also create and manage systems to oversee grants associated with LPC programming, including tracking deliverables, writing reports, and engaging a second Program Officer, Program Associate, and business management staff as needed.
Lastly, this role will be responsible for managing and cultivating organizational and programmatic partnerships that are in strategic alignment with our mission.
LOGISTICS
Internews has US offices in Arcata, CA and Washington, DC which support a hybrid workforce with staff working remotely, fully in-office, or partially remote.
This is a remote-based role, and candidates based anywhere in the United States will be considered.

QUALIFICATIONS WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent writing skills and proven text-editing proficiency.
Strong analytical skills : ability to define, communicate, and resolve complex problems.

The annual salary range for this position is US $70,100 US $87,600 .
