Ector County ISD is Hiring a GROUNDSKEEPER Near Odessa, TX
Qualifications
- Basic grounds maintenance knowledge
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- Ability to read and understand written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally
- Ability to operate tractors and/or landscaping equipment
- Ability to operate riding and/or power mowers, power tools, gas and/or electric weed trimmers, blowers, edger’s, sprayers, striping machines, post hole augers, hand tools, aerators and light duty trucks or vans
- None
- Mow and detail the grounds and around fence lines, parking lots exterior buildings etc.
- Care for trees, shrubs and /or any vegetation (including any turf areas) by watering, pruning, fertilizing, mulching and controlling unwanted grass or weeds
- Plant shrubs and vegetation
- Provide proper care for all flowerbeds
- Collect and dispose of leaves, dirt, rubbish and remove from district buildings and grounds
- Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed district safety procedures and report any unsafe working conditions that are not correctable to your supervisor
- Transport equipment to work sites throughout the district
- Perform other duties as assigned
