Groundskeeper
The Sewell Family of Companies is seeking an individual that has a passion for working outside & pride themselves on their work and strive to maintain an aesthetically-pleasing environment. The groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining and improving the appearance of outdoor areas such as lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers and turf.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers & chainsaws
- Perform basic repairs and landscaping tasks such as fertilizing, mulching, planting, pruning and irrigation
- Prepare outdoor areas for various types of weather conditions by weatherproofing, covering outdoor furniture, tying down unsecured items etc.
Schedule: Full-time Monday- Friday 7am-4pm
Education, Experience & Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience is preferred not required
- Knowledge of gardening techniques
- Ability to operate a variety of equipment & tools
- Able to lift 20-30 pounds
