- Implementing programs to improve quality, reduce cost, qualify alternate source-of-supply and expand product offerings to continue strong growth in the retail home care business.
- Initiating and leading laboratory experiments focused in core nonwoven scouring technology.
- Working closely with cross-functional team, including Laboratory, Business / Marketing, Supply Chain / Sourcing, Regulatory and Quality, to drive key Change Management Process (CMP) programs forward for existing products and product line extensions.
- Verifying and documenting product specifications for existing and new products in 3M Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) system.
- Conducting product claims testing, test method development including DOE and document test results via claim substantiation process in 3M PLM system.
- Supports, as a team member, on NPI teams to drive implementation and launch.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Good statistical background with knowledge of Lean/Six-Sigma methodologies.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Experience leading and/or participating on cross functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong communication skills both verbal and written, analytical and organizational skills to manage different priorities.
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Maplewood, MN at least 3 days per week)
