Responsibilities
- Analyze and maintain the enterprise security infrastructure.
- Recommend solutions, products, and technologies to meet security objectives.
- Protect IT assets and infrastructure from external or internal threats.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements regarding information access, security, and privacy.
- Implement firewall solutions to secure data and provide consultation on new firewall implementations and configuration changes.
- Assist end-users and other IT professionals in requesting security variances and implementing configuration change requests.
- Recommend best security practices to achieve business objectives, advise on risk assumptions for any variances granted and provide alternatives to achieve desired end results.
- Assist in incident response for any breaches, intrusions, or theft.
- Monitor systems for anomalies, perform proper updating, and patching.
- Monitor vendor websites for potential threat alerts and software upgrades.
- Evaluate and perform planning, testing, and implementation of software and hardware upgrades.
- Maintain system documentation and configuration data for regulatory and audit purposes.
- Utilize skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Eigrp, Firewall Technologies.
- Possession of a minimum of 5 years of experience in Cyber Security Engineering.
- Proficient in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
- Experience with Checkpoint software.
- Familiarity with Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies.
- Fundamental knowledge in Computer Hardware.
- Skilled in Configuration Management.
- Ability to Design and implement security strategies.
- Experience with Eigrp.
- Proficiency in various Firewall Technologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and individually.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
