Our client, a boutique litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Law Firm Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm. As the Law Firm Administrator, you will be responsible for managing all administrative functions, financial operations, human resources, and facilities management to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the firm. This is a key leadership position that requires strong management skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with attorneys and staff to drive the firm's success.
Responsibilities:
1. **Financial Management:**
- Oversee the firm's financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, billing, and collections.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic guidance to optimize profitability and financial stability.
2. **Human Resources Management:**
- Manage all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Coordinate employee benefits programs and administer payroll processing.
3. **Operations Management:**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm, including office management, facilities maintenance, and technology infrastructure.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with department heads and staff to ensure seamless workflow and collaboration across the firm.
4. **Strategic Planning and Leadership:**
- Work closely with firm leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives to support the firm's growth and long-term success.
- Provide leadership and guidance to department heads and staff to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the firm's operations and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; MBA or JD preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in law firm administration or a similar leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and billing processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in law firm management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
