We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team at a credit union located in Metairie, Louisiana. The role involves supporting the organization through a merger and system implementation, handling day-to-day responsibilities and system testing. Responsibilities:• Support the Accounting team in both daily tasks and system implementation• Handle month-end close, accounts payable, and accounts receivable• Assist in budgeting and financial reporting processes• Conduct data testing while running parallel systems for system optimization• Maintain a positive professional attitude and motivate others in the team• Exhibit integrity, reliability, and leadership in all tasks• Provide exceptional client services by managing self and others• Respond with a sense of urgency, practicality, and accountability to all tasks• Utilize various accounting software systems and ERP solutions• Manage intercompany accounting and billing functions• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
