Sponsorship is not availableProduction Supervisor DescriptionOur client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a 2nd or 3rd Shift Supervisor to add to their team outside of Cleveland, Ohio. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will be responsible for executing the production plan, and supervising the production team, machinery, and processes. An ideal candidate will be a high-energy, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring a production floor team. To be successful, you should have at least two years of team lead experience within the manufacturing industry and be mechanically inclined. Production Supervisor ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily production and quality control on the shop floor
Coach and mentor production floor team members (up to 15)
Identify inefficiencies and take corrective actions
Establish expectations for staff and manage accordingly
Delegate work responsibilities to the production team
Train employees on safety rules and regulations
Coordinate and supervise the flow of the production floor
Oversee all documentation for production records to ensure accuracy and completion
Production Supervisor Qualifications2 years of production lead experience in the manufacturing industry required
Strong mechanical aptitude required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
Must be a hands-on, engaging leader
