Overview

Our company is looking for a fulltime Janitorial Area Supervisor to direct janitorial contract operations at multiple locations in the Southern New Jersey area. The Area Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness under a performance based contract. He/she will handle weekly and daily employee schedules, oversee daily tasks to ensure they are completed well and on time, and manage our inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies. In addition, he/she will assist with administrative tasks (including payroll) and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations. Our ideal applicant has several years of janitorial experience, including supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Create And Supervise Service Schedules For Cleaning Staff
• Measure Performance And Maintain Quality Standards
• Interview And Train New Staff
• Keep Track Of Inventory Needs (Equipment, Tools, And Equipment)
• Assist With Administrative Tasks As Needed (IE - Customer Reports/Payroll)
• Maintain A Safe And Healthy Work Environment
• Ensure Compliance Wth State And Federal Regulations

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in janitorial services supervision.
• Strong leadership and communications skills
• Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
• Basic computer skills (proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability To Perform Physical Tasks As Needed

Compensation/Benefits

• Salary Range $42,500 - $50,000
• Company Vehicle Or Auto Mileage Reimbursement
