Head of Partnerships

Who We Are:

DELVE is a Performance Media Agency focused on helping clients grow their customer base by integrating the power of Tech & Data in Media. We act as one highly functioning team that is powered by our professional “Fire in the Belly”, with a passion for creating exceptional value by delighting our clients and creating an engaging work environment for our team members.

We deliver digital marketing management, first-party data science and consulting, and adtech/martech systems integration & reselling on a global scale. We connect the dots between data and technology in media by identifying our clients' super fans, deterministically finding more of them, and converting them online in the most effective way.

DELVE has been recognized as Built In Colorado’s “Best Places to Work” for the past three years in a row . Our culture emphasizes professional development in an environment where everyone can have an impact. We are passionate about seeing our team through self-care, family, community and (of course) career growth. As a privately owned company, we don’t get caught in red tape, instead we pave a path of growth for those with a passion to succeed professionally.

DELVE is a fast-paced company with proven success with high-profile global customers such as UNICEF, Wynn Americas, Virgin Voyages, Gerber Life Insurance, Apple Leisure Group, Orange, and Hebe.

Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, DELVE also has offices in Warsaw and Minsk, as well as team members in 10 other countries.

What We Are Looking For:

As the Head of Partnerships, you will be responsible for establishing and managing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders at Google and Amazon . You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, enhancing our service offerings, and expanding our market reach. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the digital media landscape, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven track record of building successful partnerships. The location of this role can be remote but frequent travel and accommodating meetings in different time zones is required.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Partner Relationship
    • Go-to-Market Fit
    • Lead the process of packaging a set of “Tip of the Spear” projects across multiple partners - aligning DELVE offerings with the partner-level DNA.
    • Advocate and evangelize across internal teams the importance of MOS alignment with partners
    • Convert the Tips of the Spear projects into easily explainable, repetitive frameworks to be presented to the Partners’ sales organizations
  • Relationship Building
    • Own the definition of 100 target accounts within DELVE’s target verticals based on their revenue, current position in the market, research around their perceived issues, etc.
    • Working with partner management team on the partners’ side, develop and own the execution of the strategy for getting in touch with the HOIs and vertical leads for those identified verticals and accounts - targeting at least 3 introductions per quarter to the identified priority accounts.
    • Develop and own a cadence of “road shows” - spreading the consistent word about DELVE as the trusted partner to those identified HOIs.
  • Pipeline Management
    • Organize and maintain the process for transparent and predictable pipeline management of Partner opportunities - shared with both DELVE’s ELT and the partners’ organizations
    • Multi-level relationship building
    • Organize and internally influence the Practice Area teams to work with the technical-level specialists of the Partners’ organizations to ensure continuity and predictability in delivery projects
    • Be on the lookout for new betas and opportunities announced by partners to ensure timely execution of those by the Practice Area teams
  • Revenue Accountability
    • Own the process for projecting partner-driven revenue and be accountable for delivery against those targets.
  • Marketing Partnership
    • Work with Marketing and Industry Leads on shared initiatives (eg, Sales Enablement materials) as well as ideas for further revenue growth should the company targets be missed
  • Technology
    • CMO-level expertise in functional platforms – those being Google Marketing Platform, Google Cloud Platform, Adobe Stack, Amazon DSP, (over time) SalesForce, and others - to be able to drive conversations and act as an Agnostic Trusted Advisor for DELVE’s clients
    • Understanding of VALUE that the above technology stacks can bring to the client’s organization – and ways to convey such value to clients (examples – feature adoption reports, etc)
  • Strategy
    • Be the advocate and evangelist – internally and externally – for the role of Data in Marketing. Be relentless in helping D2C companies define, measure, and understand the Value of data projects and performance marketing.
  • Team Management
    • Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years of being a strong People Manager, Influencer, Coach, and Leader – understanding the differences between those 4 roles and playing the right one when needed – accountable for the full employee lifecycle in the Partnership organization
    • Be proficient in Staff Planning, Scheduling System to align revenue pipeline with necessary people, and Accountability management to ensure that every extra hire into the team is bringing the positive ROI to the company
    • Take ownership over the team – be Accountable – while relying on other teams for support but not for taking over the accountability (example – working with People Ops to speed up hiring; working with Finance to determine team’s profitability)
  • Coaching
    • Focus on the best in people – help Specialists and Managers on the team to become the next wave of leaders in the organization

Here’s What You’ll Need:
