A company in the finance industry is looking for a loan processor to join their growing team! This position is contract to hire and fully onsite Downtown Los Angeles. This job function primarily focuses on the administration of loans. The person in this position will have a wide range of responsibilities, including creating loan files, ordering and reviewing necessary reports, preparing loan documents, and communicating with various parties to ensure the smooth processing of loans. Responsibilities:• Create loan files and organize documents in accordance with established checklist.• Order appraisals, property profiles, flood certificates, and other reports required to perfect real estate collateral interest.• Request and review insurance information.• Prepare loan documents according to approval and within policy and guidelines.• Monitor the receipt of documents and follow up with necessary parties to ensure documents are received in a timely manner.• Assemble loan documents for delivery to the settlement agent for closing.• Respond to questions from borrowers and provide necessary follow-ups.• Analyze loan amounts, taxes, hazard insurance, principal, and interest payments, and coordinate the finalization of the closing funding package.• Work with Title Companies and Escrows to ensure turnaround times are met and all closing conditions are satisfied prior to funding.• Maintain constant communication with escrow, title, and loan agents regarding loan-funding status.The skills required for this position include proficiency in Automated Underwriting System, Calyx Point, CRM, Data Processing, LaserPro, About Time, Closing Processes, Compliance, Credit, and Customer Service.
