Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Tunnel Engineer to join our team for a construction project in Los Angeles.

- Project: Tunnel Construction

- Estimated length: 12 months - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the candidate in other projects to give him/her continuity.

- Responsibilities:

• Assist during construction and review of all tasks related to tunnel construction and alignment.
• Perform review of all construction documents and assist the project managers in directing the work of all contractors.
• Conduct quality control during construction, including review of specifications and drawings, and assisting with construct-ability reviews Improve construction processes and efficiencies, including the development of instruments, tools, and databases.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and training to project managers, superintendents, and tunnel construction laborers.
• Perform budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management

- Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as a tunnel engineer
• Civil Engineer
• Intermediate level of English

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 40 hours weekly
