We are on the hunt for a competent Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in the food and food processing industry. Based in Lenexa, Kansas, United States, this role involves a blend of customer service, management, and administrative duties. You will be working directly with customers and sales representatives from the beginning of the purchase order to the completion of the project. This role also encompasses managing the internal Admin team and some human resource functions, offering a hybrid work setting.Responsibilities:• Lead and cultivate a work culture that fosters open communications and teamwork• Oversee all sales order functions including validating acceptable terms & conditions, generating purchase orders, tracking orders, arranging shipping and invoicing• Set up new customers, including obtaining credit references• Execute general corporate administrative functions including filing state annual reports, as well as General Liability and Workman’s Compensation Insurance reviews and audits• Manage and coordinate with the internal Admin team to ensure accurate data input, invoicing, reporting, as well as collaboration on process improvements• Ensure applicable transaction documentation is obtained and filed including invoices, tax exemption certificates, and vendor insurance liability• From an HR perspective: maintain personnel records, field benefits questions, run background checks, obtain job applications and other documentation• Oversee office including ordering supplies, coordinating with cleaning company, and set-up for occasional on-site meetings• Maintain company policies and procedures• Undertake ad-hoc projects as needed• Assist with implementing software or upgrades.
