The City Pub is seeking a highly skilled Prep Cook

Are you passionate about creating delicious dishes in a fun and loving environment? Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen? If so, we have an immediate opening for a Prep Cook at The City Pub.

The City Pub, your soon to be favorite neighborhood haunt, will be open daily with craft cocktails, hand tossed pizzas, and casual bites in a cozy setting. This place speaks to us all, catering to the gaming crowd with darts, pool, and games of chance. On its second level, you’ll find private dining areas available to large groups, an expansive patio overlooking Main Street and The Astro, and a second bar flanked by multiple TV’s for those cant miss events.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Prepare food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
• Plate prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
• Work with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Wash and clean the kitchen and cooking utensils and store the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Prep Cook or Line Cook
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge

Pay:

• Pay range: $13 - $15 per hour
