Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing statements and reports, including written premiums, losses, and income.
- Running periodic financial reports, including monthly and quarterly analytics as assigned, including research of variances.
- Preparation of financial statements and account reconciliations.
- Respond to audit requests including insurance departments' inquiries.
- Directly accountable for the preparation and completion of all supplemental reporting/filings for responsible companies.
- Assist with onboarding of new business, including setting up reporting and system profiles to capture monthly activity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Arts degree in Accounting
- 3 – 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Insurance industry experience.
- Understanding of reinsurance concepts.
- Advanced MS Excel.
- CPA preferred
- Oracle EBS general ledger experience a plus.
- Blackline reconciliation tool experience a plus.
