We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess either a Master's in Taxation (MST) and CPA certification or a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA certification, and substantial public accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies and provide guidance on tax-related issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries.
• Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and optimize tax strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact to clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns and projects.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members and interns.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Taxation (MST) and CPA certification OR Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification, and substantial public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prior experience in public accounting is preferred.
