BRIEF JOB SUMMARY: The Technology Manager is responsible for managing enabling technology at MHDS, Inc., coordination, and communication with our customers, and maintaining technology accounts and equipment in use. Evaluation, training, install and monitor enabling technology for those who use MHDS, Inc. as a technology vendor. Provide educational opportunities to those in communities about what enabling technology are available. Creating and tracking invoices and payment process for services provided. Participating in Circle of Support meetings to coordinate and inform persons of technology options. They will also serve as a back-up trainer to the MAPs Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Develop a process for how training will be provided to employees on the individual specific training on Enabling Technology individualized for certain homes.
2. Become the certified Technology Champion for the organization. Maintain the certification yearly.
3. Develop a plan to promote, track and report on employees completing training in technology solutions placed in certain locations.
4. Coordinate and develop topics and materials to promote technology solutions and products for persons served, families and other members of community. Provide onsite demonstrations of products.
5. Develop and maintain the showroom for equipment that MHDS, Inc. have on hand for demonstrations, trainings and evaluations along with written instruction materials for those that purchase the equipment to have in their home to reference.
6. Explore new Technology Solutions for agency facilities and individuals to improve the quality of services and opportunities for independence.
7. Liaison with external customers and vendors regarding issues, upgrades or new equipment needs.
8. Hire, train and oversee employees for remote monitoring services provided by MHDS, Inc.
9. Develop current pricing sheets for products and services for technology solutions. Order needed technology products as needed.
10. Tracking and responding to all referrals for technology solutions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
