LHH is Hiring an Outside sales representative Near Jackson, MS
Our client, a 120 year old company out of Chicago (originally) is bringing on Outside Sales Representatives in the Jackson, MS Metro area.
This role is an amazing one for someone coming into sales, wanting to get back into sales, or just loves outside sales in general.
The client offers to their customers in the restaurant, event, and grocery industries (90,000 customers) both PRODUCT and SERVICES.

- Do you love being out in the field, talking to people, and making cold calls?

Key Job Responsibilities
- Executing 15 in-person sales contacts every day / 60 each week.
- Leaving a minimum of 8 knife trials with prospective customers each week.
- Establishing a minimum of 6 new customers each week through cold calling, networking, social media prospecting, and lead execution.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records in Salesforce.
- Maintaining an accurate inventory of sales knives.
- Working effectively with all service and support team members.
- Performing all duties safely (knife handling, operating company vehicles, being inside commercial kitchens).
- Maintaining a company vehicle (work use only).
Compensation :
$50,000 / year annual salary
plus UNCAPPED commissions
- OTE on average is $82k - $87k
- 401(k) w / employer matching, Health Insurance Vision And Dental, Flexible spending account OR Health savings account, Paid time off (2 weeks)
Requirements :
- Have a valid driver’s license and pass and periodic MVR requirements outlined in Fleet Safety Program.
- Pass a pre-employment drug and background test.
- NO degree requirements; Bachelor's degree preferred but not needed.
- 2 years' experience in sales is ideal, not required.
