Role:

-Project set up

• Prepare Arch/Structural/Etc. models to incorporate within the MEP model
• BIM file management
• Prepare all sheets and views
• Maintain project initiation

-Understanding and knowledge of REVIT and BIM360

-Managing the AutoDesk and Bluebeam licenses, etc.

-BIM communication with Architect

-General sheet set up QA/QC

• Verify title block information is accurate with architect
• Plot individual sheets to confirm the sheet name is same as file name, confirm sheet orientation is same on all sheets, confirm keyed notes/general notes are consistent on all sheets
• Plot batch by discipline at initial setup
• After last update or 2-days before a project goes out, replot and check drawings for aesthetics
• Create 10-pt. check list with PMs (i.e. spelling, title block info, sheet titles, column lines, etc.)

-Coordinate with Team Leaders on a weekly basis

-Create contractor models and REVIT to AutoCAD or Navisworks conversions

Responsibilities:

-Reach out to TLs, PMs, and Directors to support BIM set up efforts

• Mechanical Templates
• Electrical Templates
• Plumbing Templates
• Interiors Templates
• Technology Templates
• REVIT Family Management and Maintenance

-Ownership of the product AND the process

-Review project initiation Questions with counterpart at Architectural firm to validate a complete project setup

• Verify nomenclature
• Sheet numbering

-Maintain internal client service hours (be physically in the office Monday through Thursday)

• 8:30 – 4:30 at a minimum to ensure the team can get the assistance they need to meet our clients expectations on the projects. This is minimum office time and work from home would be acceptable around these times as necessary to get the job done.
