Position: Mechanical Drafter
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Contract Role
Required skills: SolidWorks/CAD, Mechanical Design Experience
Qualifications:
- Requires an undergraduate degree (preferred) in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline or equivalent experience (minimum of 6 years related experience preferred).
- Must be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas:
- Mechanical Engineering design principles
- Documentation and configuration control principles
- Understanding electromechanical downhole product design
Experience:
- Must be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Oilfield products and systems
- Manufacturing processes
- Engineering drawing creation and Geometric Tolerancing
- Interpretation of technical information into clear and logical steps
- SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Microsoft Office/Adobe Acrobat packages
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Mechanical Drafting: 6 years (Required)
- SolidWorks: 6 years (Required)
- AutoCAD: 6 years (Required)
- Mechanical design: 6 years (Required)
