The University of Southern Maine is seeking applicants for a part-time Coordinator of Maine Teacher Residency.

The Coordinator of Maine Teacher Residency will oversee the weekly coordination of the state-wide, grant funded project.

This position is responsible for coordinating with Educator Preparation Programs in Maine, PK-12 school districts, and state agencies.

The Coordinator will ensure consistent and well-coordinated project outreach efforts and activities. This work involves extensive outreach to connect with Maine educators in the field across the P-20 continuum and meeting with constituent groups to determine staffing and support needs.

This is a part-time (8 hours per week), grant funded position with a starting annual salary up to $15,. This position will be based primarily on the Gorham Campus.

Qualifications :

• Masters degree
• Three years of proven leadership as an administrator in K-12 or higher education, leadership experience related to developing and sustaining university and preK-12 school partnerships and collaborations.
• Experience designing curriculum, academic programs, and professional development; experience with K-12 or teacher education accreditation and standards-based assessment.
• Ability to provide own transportation (fully insured vehicle), and compliance with Maine law regarding vehicle insurance.
