ABC Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned practice that presently contracts with school systems in southern New Hampshire. We are currently looking for a physical therapist or assistant to work part/full time. The staff of ABCPT provides physical therapy to special needs students as part of their Individual Education Plan (IEP). Our students have a variety of diagnoses and abilities. We work directly with an educational team to maximize the student's ability to access the school environment and participate more fully in the school curriculum. A successful physical therapist is one who is able to communicate effectively with students, school staff, and families, as well as being an active member of the larger educational team. The right candidate will be committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of our pediatric patients, and will be responsible for providing physical therapy services that promote their participation in their educational curriculum. Therapists enjoy minimal travel, excellent reimbursement and a manageable caseload. Responsibilities: Perform physical therapy evaluations and procedures in a safe and engaging environment. Provide physical therapy treatments to students throughout the duration of their IEP (Individualized Education Plan). Monitor and document student progress throughout the course of treatment. Provide education and resources for the school staff. Directly interact with students, school staff and families to determine areas where additional or alternative resources are needed.
